Fabled Horse Solutions 2 Day Vehicle Tactics
October 14 @ 9:00 am - October 15 @ 5:00 pm$425.00
Presented by Fabled Horse Solutions Lead Instructor John Stankewicz:
Defending yourself and your loved ones is not limited to standing and facing your threat on a flat, open range type of area. In our everyday life we spend a large amount of time in or around our vehicles. This two-day course is designed to teach the possible advantages and disadvantages to fighting with your pistol and/or rifle from within and outside your vehicle.
Have you considered how you will fight from inside or around vehicles? The Fabled Horse Solutions Vehicle Tactics class will address those issues and more.
Our curriculum addresses not only how to fight from inside and/or around a vehicle but also covers ballistics for several firearms types and calibers and how those rounds may react when shot into a vehicle. Your perceptions of “What is cover” vs. “What is concealment” will be challenged. You will learn how the vehicle can be an advantage in your fight and how NOT to make it a disadvantage.
This is NOT a beginner’s course. This course has MANDATORY firearms qualification requirements PRIOR to be allowed in this course – NO EXCEPTIONS. Solid weapons manipulations and safe firearm operating procedures are a must. You may be asked to provide certificates from prior pistol and/or rifle classes and/or your Concealed Weapons Permit certification. Prior intermediate level pistol or rifle classes are HIGHLY recommended before taking this course. We will NOT be setting or confirming zeros or addressing improper gear or equipment issues in this course. For Concealed Weapons Permit holders we recommend you use your concealed carry firearm, holster and other everyday carry (EDC) equipment for this course. Fully open handgun rigs, rifles (AR-15 or similar) and other items such as plate carriers and supporting equipment are also permitted as long as all weapon handling and manipulation safety procedures are followed.
We strongly encourage you to contact the lead instructor for this course if you have ANY doubts or questions as to whether you are prepared for this course.
This course is physically and mentally demanding. Shooting from inside or from around a vehicle is dangerous. However, with proper instruction and safety, by the end of the course you will have experienced properly drawing your pistol or getting your long gun into your fight and making hits on target.
(MINIMUM ROUND COUNT – 500 rounds if pistol only. 500 rounds for rifle only. Total 600 rounds combined pistol and rifle if used)
