DESCRIPTION:Defensive Handgun Fundamentals \nThis course builds core handgun fundamentals and helps students become more comfortable with grip\, stance\, proper sight alignment\, and safely drawing from a holster. Students will leave with practical drills and techniques they can incorporate into their own training regimen. \nWhether you are a new handgun owner or a recreational shooter looking to develop defensive handgun skills\, this is a strong course for building a safe and effective foundation. \nAmmunition\, Pricing\, and Registration\n\nAmmunition: Bring 300 rounds; approximately 250 rounds may be used during the course.\nSubscription holders: $200.00\nNon-subscribers: $225.00\nRegistration is required at least 48 hours in advance.\n\nFirearm Preparation and Safety Requirements\nFirearms that have never been fired must be field-stripped and have any packing grease removed before use. If you are unsure how to do this\, consult your owner’s manual or ask about an available out-of-the-box first-shots class offered at an additional cost. \nDue to safety requirements\, SIG P320 pistols are not permitted in this class. \nRequired Equipment\n\nHandgun\nSturdy belt\nA properly fitted holster for your firearm; sticky holsters\, belly bands\, off-body holsters\, and universal holsters are not permitted\nAt least two magazines\nEye and ear protection\n300 rounds of ammunition\nPersonal first-aid kit (optional)\nLunch and/or snacks and plenty of fluids\nWeather-appropriate personal equipment\nChair (optional)\n\nAdditional Information\nClasses are held rain or shine\, so arrive prepared with appropriate personal equipment.
