This course is taught by a certified gun smith:
You will be educated on the AR’s three (3) basic components: Upper Receiver, Lower Receiver and Bolt Carrier Group. You will leave with a solid understanding of these three (3) major parts and their relationship to the weapon. Additionally, you will see an AR Lower Receiver and AR Upper Receiver being completely assembled and receive assistance in assembling your own if you have the parts required. Individual parts will be explained and introduced, including: Selector Switches, Magazine Catch, Bolt Catch, Charging Handles, Detents, Springs, Take-Down Pins, Various Types of Triggers, Hammers, Barrel Nuts, Buffer Systems and Gas System Parts, Hand Guards/Rails and Muzzle Devices. A complete LPK (lower Parts Kit) will be installed.
