Goals and Background
In uncertain times we have a host of conditions which could directly affect the way we live and the availability of the public services that we have grown to expect. We must become more self-reliant, plan, prepare and practice for medical and traumatic situations that an individual may have to assess and treat, with little, delayed or no support. This 16hr. class will provide information and skills to address common illness and injuries. Patient assessment, injury or illness assessment, treatment and prolong patient care issues. Material and subject matter adheres to Emergency Medical System Standards of Care. Certificate of attendance upon compellation of 16hr.
Audience
People who want to prepare for, assess and treat ill and injured people in the absence of conventional and available emergency services. No prerequisites. Under 16 years old accompanied by guardian.

Lecture and hands on, 0800-1630 each day with 30-minute lunch (self-provided). Breaks TBA
